A few clarifications:
Armors do not use inscriptions. They use insignias, which become their prefix mod, and runes which become their suffix mod.
All Tyrian and Canthan headpieces now include the additional +1 energy mod. Previously purchased headpieces were retrofitted with this mod. This is not an insignia (since it can't be removed or changed), but it serves the function of the Radiant insignia (+1 energy in headpiece). All Elonian armor (including headpiece) comes without insignias and therefore would not have the +1 energy mod until upgraded with the Radiant insignia.
Tyrian born and Canthan born characters will not be offered insignia capable armor (or headpieces) from the Eternal Forgemaster in FOW. This is in keeping with insignia capable armor not being available in Tyria or Cantha.
Only Elona born characters (which currently excludes Assassins and Ritualists) are offered insignia capable armors in FOW. This is not likely to change IMO, since it is obviously a business marketing decision. You have to buy Nightfall if you want the latest and greatest features.

Wait does this mean my warrior which has beaten all 3 campaigns but was born in Tyria can't get inscribable fow armour?
If that is true then it isn't a marketing feuture.. but a marketing BUG (since I bought nightfall.. etc)
Please tell me you made a mistake =(

He made a mistake.
I don't know if Nightfall is needed to be able to buy Insignia Obsidian Armor since FoW is a core area, but you sure as hell can buy the armor since you have Nightfall.

Yes, at the present time this DOES mean that your Tyrian-born Warrior CANNOT purchase insignia capable FOW armor. I have been there recently with Tyrian-born, Canthan-born and Elonian characters. As verified through my own viewing of the Forgemaster crafting window and confirmed by others in my parties,
UNLESS YOU BRING AN ELONIAN-BORN CHARACTER, YOU WILL NOT BE OFFERED INSIGNIA CAPABLE ARMOR.
While this does limit your ability to alter the mods, the good thing about it is you don't have to spend the additional gold on insignias, some of which are pretty costly (sentinel and bloodstained, for example).

Kurzick FTW
(even though the kurzick race looks like albino rastafarian homosexual troglodites......they seem to have good taste in providing armour for their friends.... )

OK, I stand corrected. Apparently as long as you have Nightfall you CAN now get insignia FOW armor regardless of campaign origin. Sorry for the mistake, although I did indeed take several characters there who were not offered this armor.
JD
PS - If you ARE going to get Sentinel Warrior Armor, it still makes good economic sense to just buy the non-insignia Sentinel armor and save the ~30K on insignias.

lmao...flame on!! Just because you can't afford FoW armor doesn't mean you should bash on it. We like it so live with it and don't leave your pointless crap opinion. You want to look nice? You mean you want to look like the rest of the other Warriors with Primeval and 15k Kurz right? lol
I love the FoW helm for male Warriors
Anyways, can someone confirm if the "Obsidian Helms" are the ones are capable of having an insignia applied to it and not the Gladiator's Obs Helm, Executioner's Obs helm, etc? Thank you very much!

Yes, those plain ones are insigniable. I haven't actually tested them myself but I'm 100% sure.
